Technology for Problem Solving Spotlight

When problem-solving, the first step is to define the problem at hand precisely and clearly. Using technology to help problem solve can be essential and necessary. The importance of developing this skill today is such that, it is even highlighted in the Common Core Standards and has become a necessary component of any curriculum. Problem-solving directly implies decision-making, which is another important skill, not only for academics but for success in life in general (Lizzappi, 2015).

Collecting data, viewing and analyzing online polls and surveys, and collaborating with others through different social media platforms are all great ways to use technology for problem-solving.
